Reviews / Stone Systems
Stone Systems reviews & pricing: what $297 really gets you. And the $449 alternative.
The short answer
- Stone Systems starts at $297 a month, but that covers a 10 to 20 page site with on-site SEO only.
- On their sales call, full SEO and AI search was quoted at $500 a month extra. That's $797 a month.*
- Vaultio is a flat $449 a month: unlimited pages and keywords, full SEO and AI search, daily blog posts, your Google profile and a live dashboard.
- That's $348 a month back in your pocket. $4,176 a year.
If you're reading Stone Systems reviews, you've probably seen the pitch: a contractor website and marketing system that gets you found on Google for $297 a month. It's a great price. The real question is what Stone Systems' pricing actually includes, and what it costs to get what you really want: your phone ringing from Google and AI search.
Full disclosure: I run Vaultio, a competitor. So instead of opinions, here are the facts, side by side, so you can decide for yourself.
Stone Systems reviews: the fair take
Stone Systems is a real company (a brand of MVH Management Consultancy LLC) with plenty of happy customers on its testimonials page. Their customers like the simple setup, the texting tools and the price. That's worth saying.
Most reviews don't answer the questions that matter before you sign up: what's actually in the $297 plan, what costs extra, and how they build your SEO. That's what this breakdown covers.
What $297 a month gets you at Stone Systems
According to Stone Systems' own pricing page, the $297 plan includes:
- A website with 10 to 20 pages
- Automated lead follow-up and missed-call text back
- A 5-star review funnel and one-click marketing campaigns
- On-site SEO
Google Business Profile optimization, "Advanced SEO" and Google Ads are listed separately, with no public price. Their FAQ also says they don't handle off-page backlinks beyond your social media.
The real cost to get found: $797 a month
On-site SEO is the basics: page titles, tags, a fast and secure site. It helps, but it isn't what gets a contractor into Google's top results or recommended by ChatGPT. For that you need full SEO: content, backlinks and your Google Business Profile working together.
When we asked on a Stone Systems sales call, full SEO and AI search was quoted at $500 a month on top of the $297 plan. That's $797 a month. Fixing your Google Business Profile was quoted as a $500 one-time fee, waived if you pay quarterly.*

Ask every SEO company this: how do you build my backlinks?
Backlinks are links to your website from other websites. Google treats good ones like votes of trust, so they're one of the biggest reasons a site climbs. But not all backlinks are good.
Some companies build a network of cheap, throwaway websites with no real visitors and point them all at your site. It looks like SEO work on paper. Google calls it a link scheme, and its spam policies say sites that use links like these can rank lower or drop out of results. In other words, the wrong backlinks don't just waste your money. They can hurt the business you're paying to grow.
Before you pay any company for SEO, ask three questions:
- How exactly do you build my backlinks?
- Can I see every link you build, and the site it comes from?
- Are these real websites with real visitors?
If the answers are vague, walk away.
Stone Systems' FAQ says they don't handle off-page backlinks beyond your social media. At Vaultio we build backlinks for every client, and every single one shows up in your dashboard, so you can see exactly where it comes from.
